Terms and conditions for enrolment at Dudwell School
The price list, the enrolment form and these terms and conditions constitute the terms of a legally binding contract between you and Dudwell School Ltd. (“we” or “us”)
By applying to enrol on a course and paying the deposit set out in the price list, you agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Any enrolment application by you will be subject to written acceptance by us. We reserve the right to make minor amendments to the Cookery Courses content and prices without notice.
3. Deposit and Fees
All fees must be paid in full at least two weeks before the start of the course. If fees are not paid by the due date we shall re-allocate your place if we have a waiting list for the course. If there is no waiting list the balance of the fees may still be payable. See “cancellations” below.
The deposit is non-refundable.
All participants must be over the age of 16 or over. Participants must wear appropriate clothes in the kitchen. Long hair must be tied back and shoes must be flat with non-slip soles and covered toes. Participants will be asked to sign a safety advice document before cooking in the kitchen.
The fee includes recipe packs, hire of aprons, ingredients and use of all equipment
You must advise the school in advance of any dietary requirements , allergies or food intolerances and let us know if you are epileptic, pregnant or have diabetes.Nuts and nut products are common ingredients and will be used as ingredients in our courses.
We are not responsible for any loss or injury suffered by you whilst on the course unless it is caused by our negligence.
The School is located within the grounds of private residential accommodation and therefore use of all garden equipment (trampoline, swimming pool etc.) is at your own risk.
We reserve the right to photograph classes on occasions, for promotional and publicity purposes
We have a 21 day cancellation policy. If you wish to change courses more than 21 days before the booked course starts we will try to book you onto another course. An administration charge of £10 will apply- unless you find a replacement participant for your place.
If you cancel more than 21 days before the course we will give you a refund less the non-refundable deposit.
If you cancel less than 21 days before the course the fees are payable in full and fees (less deposit) will only be refunded where we are able to fill your place. If you can find a replacement participant you are welcome to do so at no extra cost.
In the event of cancellation by ourselves, we undertake to provide a suitable alternative course within a reasonable period of time. If this is not possible we endeavour to make an immediate full refund.
You must not bring the School any items of special value. We do not accept responsibility for the loss of personal possessions. You are advised to takeout personal insurance against the loss of fees through illness or personal accident.
The contract contains all the contractual terms agreed between us and shall be governed by English law.
